  The Australian Government has reviewed the existing Managed Investment Trust (MIT) regime, under which withholding tax for foreign investors is to be taxed at a rate of 7.5% against income and capital gains, down from 30%. Read more

In the notices of meetings issued to unit holders on 9 July 2010, it is proposed that The Trust Company (RE Services) Limited, be appointed replacement responsible entity (RE) for 10 Trio managed investment schemes, nine of which are registered and one of which is an unregistered wholesale trust.
